Smack Volleyball Club was formed by Ali Oliver in Fall 2005. Ali is the head coach of the women's volleyball program at Whittier College. She was the co-head women's volleyball coach and head coach of the men’s club volleyball team at Cerritos College in the 2005 and 2006 seasons. Ali has over 10 years of coaching experience at the junior high, high school, club and collegiate levels. She has now been recruited to train two up and coming women's teams on the AVP tour. Ali has designed a club to help teach young women the values of working hard, being a good teammate and pushing themselves to their limits.

Smack Volleyball Club had 9 girls teams in 2008.
A 12’s team, two 14's teams, two 15’s teams, two 16's team and two 18's teams.

Smack VBC plans to carry at least 10 teams in 2009. Two 12's teams, two 14's teams, two 15's teams, two 16's teams and two 18's teams. We will offer travel teams at the older levels that will compete in out of state tournaments.
